Phyllis, also known as No. 76, was formerly a witch who transferred her soul into a God's Punishment Warrior. She is a member of the Taquila Witches.

Appearance[]

Original Form[]

In the Dream World she has tawny long hair, with her side-swept bangs clipping to one side, revealing half of her forehead and soft facial features, that gives an impression of a gentle and delicate character.[1]

God's Punishment Witch[]

Describe by Yorko, she had a pretty strong body, especially her abdomen and back, on which several faint muscle lines could be detected.

Personality[]

Background[]

During the Second Battle of Divine Will, she was the guard of the Three Chiefs.[1]

Chronology[]

No.76 was Yorko's guide when he visited Black Money auction. After Yorko got attacked, she failed to protect him and was going to be disregarded. Yorko offered to buy her for 500 gold royals but was given for free to make up for the accident. Ran away with Yorko and witches from Kingdom of Dawn to Kingdom of Graycastle

On the way out of the country, they were attacked by knights of the Kingdom of Dawn and she acted as a bait to lure them away. In truth 76 was a Taquila witch who was inserted into a body of a God's Punishment soldier. Her mission was to infiltrate Western Region and find the Chosen One:  A witch who could wipe out the demons with the instrument of divine retribution. To do so, 76 was given a magic stone which allowed her to see a witches “key”, a beam of light that appeared when a witch summoned her power.

6 days later, 76 reunited with Yorko at the City of Evernight. A week later, they went to Deepvalley town where she told them that she escaped the knights by releasing the horses and jumping off a cliff after which she was saved by fisherman. In truth, she had killed the knights and hired a wheeler to take her to Yorko, her injuries having been self-inflicted to sell her story.

While they sailed to Graycastle, 76 tested her fellow witches to see if they were the chosen one. But none of them met the requirements. During this time, she also learned of Annie’s history with the Bloodfang Association and how they sold Annie to a noble. In addition, Yorko would visit her at least once a day, and discussed her future plans.

After four days of sailing, the group finally arrived at Graycastle. Upon arriving, they were examined by four witches from the Union. During the examination, 76 was shocked by their knowledge of magic stones, the belief that no ability was useless, and the mention of a familiar name, Agatha.

That night, a witch called Nightingale, secretly came to investigate 76, however 76 noticed her watching due to her magic stone. After waiting for her to leave, 76 was alarmed when the stone seemingly resonated with something. Looking outside, the stone showed her a key that was far more complex than Pasha’s requirements. At this sight 76 was ecstatic, believing she had located the chosen one.

The next day, 76 and the others began their tour of Neverwinter. During the tour, 76 tested every witch she came across, Alas she couldn't find chosen one. Despite this she was further surprised the large number of senior witches, the existence of sigils in Neverwinter, and how the modern union had 4 witches who could use the divine sigil. As the tour came to an end, 76 finally caught sight of Agatha, whom she recognized as the youngest senior witch in the history of Taqila.

That night 76 secretly left the witches and made contact with her fellow survivor before they took their meeting to a tavern. The two of them exchanged their stories and Agatha revealed how the modern Union had begun preparing for the next divine war. With this development, 76 proceeded to reveal her mission to Agatha and asked for her aid in finding the chosen one.

Agatha agreed to help her, but she suggested that 76 first speak with Roland Wimbledon. At the time, 76 was confused as to why Agatha would have such faith in a mortal, but she agreed to think about it before she leaving to rejoin Annie and the others.

The next day, 76 revealed her identity as Phyllis, a survivor of the Ancient Witches. Having been informed beforehand, Wendy brought her to Roland, who then proceeded to ask her about the division of the old union as well as his doubts concerning the perfected form of the gods punishment army.

Powers & Abilities[]

As a God's Punishment Witch, she has inhuman strength, speed and reaction. In addition, after 400 years of practice she mastered all kinds of cold weapons.

Like the God’s Punishment Warriors, she has the power to nullify all magic around her.

Magic[]

Her ability belongs to the summoning type.

Awakening:[]

Blade Claws (Claw Retraction): She can grow two black, scrawny claws, that look like a pair of devil's hands or skeletal wings, out of her back and spread out on her shoulders. The claws are retractable and can stretch as far as her ability allows. They're also much sharper than ordinary ironware.[1]

Should the claws break and be separated from her, as long as the broken claws are within a distance of 10 steps, she can still control them. For her enemies, it'll be even more dangerous than the intact claws, since most of them never expect those broken claws to move again, they can seldom escape from this kind of fatal strikes from the back.[2] The detached claw will most likely disappear after sometime since it is made up of magic particles, just like how Scroll's ability worked.

Equipment[]

  • Copper mask
  • Magic stone ring: A ring with a five-colored stone.[3]
  • 40mm shotgun

Relationships[]

Pasha[]

Agatha[]

Phyllis revered Agatha as the youngest senior witch, but became discontent when Agatha left Taquila to make her own tower outside the city. 5 centuries later, Phyllis was surprised to find Agatha alive, her discontent replaced with excitement.

Phyllis quickly made contact with Agatha and from there they discussed the Taquila survivors, the chosen one, and the upcoming battle of divine will. Her trust in Agatha was enough so that she gave her the magic stone she was using to identify the chosen one.

Roland Wimbledon[]

Initially she was dismissive of Roland, but she treated him as an important person after the artillary exercise.

After her first visit to the Dream World, she reveres him in the same respect as the chiefs of Taquila Union.

Yorko[]

Phyllis was initially dismissive of Yorko, thinking him a mortal who just likes enjoying himself and following orders.

Trivia[]

  • It took her 50 years to get used to manipulating her new Body/Shell.[4]
  • Phyllis is an excellent actress for undercover work.
  • Only her sight and hearing work; other senses are gone.
